2021 again in Freyung

First ERT Predicate for 3 Städte Rallye

2021 the European Rally Trophy in Niederbayern and Austria

It's time for the next chapter in the great and glorious history of the ADAC Knaus Tabbert 3 Städte Rallye. Founded in 1963 as a peace rally during the Cold War. As a sign that sport knows no political or ideological barriers, the rally overcame the Iron Curtain at that time. This is now to be celebrated more than 30 years after the fall of communism. In over 50 years, the rally has always been adapted to changes and circumstances. In 2017, with a new, sustainable concept, the 3-Städte Rallye established itself as the sporting highlight in Eastern Bavaria with the 3 locations Straubing, Freyung and Passau in annual rotation. With this courage to change, the ADAC 3-Städte Rallye, by far the event with the most participants, could win a round for the FIA European Rally Trophy in 2021 and continue to be permanently anchored in the schedule of the German Rally Championship (DRM), the ADAC Rally Masters and the international Mitropa Rally Cup.

And because it was so nice: In 2021, the 57th ADAC KNAUS TABBERT 3 Städte Rallye will return to the district of Freyung-Grafenau. Once again, the rally promises spectacular routes and plenty of variety for drivers, co-drivers and fans. There will also be a spectator circuit in the immediate vicinity of the factory premises of the title sponsor Knaus Tabbert on Friday and Saturday. This year, the rally centre will pitch its tents on the grounds of the Lobo discotheque and the Schmid roofing company in Waldkirchen.

The sporting part of the classic rally, affectionately called the 3-Städte by its fans, leads over 13 special stages (SS) with a total length of around 172 SS kilometres. The event kicks off on Friday at 2.45 pm at the service area in Waldkirchen.

After the overnight break, Saturday's stage starts at 7 o'clock. The spectator points at the special stages will be coordinated with the authorities and observance of Corona measures
